Desperately trying to confirm information received yesterday evening that Everett Crabtree,who used to live at Grays Court, has been killed in Brussels. Only contact who may be able to offer confirmation is Karl Mann, Everett's former brother in law, who used to live near your pub and whose family were from Thurlaston.
Any leads you can offer would be gratefully appreciated

07/11/08 - Bungy Jump Update - A big thank you to everbody especially to Next who sponsored the brave lads who jumped off Verzasca Dam in Ticino in south Switzerland on September 20th.
Stats about the dam:
700 feet (210 metres for the youngsters out there) drop. That's nearly as high as Canary Wharf - on a good day. As a bonus, if you hit the dam then you get another jump entirely free!
It's a 7.5 second freefall which takes you to 120 mph and the youngest person who has jumped is 11, the oldest is 79!
